Rao Morusupalli

How Now Brown Rao?

  • Australia

Rao is an astronomer turned comedian who is increasingly unsure whether he made the right decisions. He ended up working at a prestigious university, but it was not as glamorous as he had hoped.

Join a brown guy trying to get by and laugh at a reluctant academic navigating a world of parking fines and rent rises. He only wants to cling to the inner child who plays on the swing. Instead, he sends an upsetting amount of emails and does too much math (yuck).

Come, come. It will be a load of fun, and you will even learn a little bit of astronomy along the way.

'Top-shelf observational comedy.' Judges Pick, 2023 Melbourne Fringe

'Intelligent, charming.' Wellington Theatre Review

We accept the invitation to walk together with First Nations people towards a more positive future for Australia, as described in the Uluru Statement From The Heart.
